Mr. Warrington has over 33 years experience in Information Technology (IT), with over 20 years in the Banking and Financial Services industry. Mr. Warrington’s accomplishments have included large project management, IT management, General Manager of an international computer training franchise, management of multi-million dollar IT and document management (image) projects, and IT management consulting. Involved with Imaging, Document Management and Workflow since 1988, Mr. Warrington has managed several large-scale document management projects, and has provided document management consulting services to large national clients.
Prior to forming Warrington & Associates, Mr. Warrington was Group Vice President of the eBusiness Solutions Group for an international consulting and solutions organization. He established the company’s Document/Content Management practice and was responsible for marketing and business development direction; establishing partnerships with key document management and related technology providers, systems integration firms, and application service providers; and leading the Group’s consulting, marketing, sales and installation efforts. Mr. Warrington also provided executive level consulting services to select clients.

Mr. Warrington’s career has involved roles with increasing financial and management responsibility and client interaction. A summary of his expertise and select accomplishments follows:
- Over thirty years of experience in assisting organizations in understanding the potential of IT and the use of advanced technologies.
- Over fifteen years experience in large Project Management, Business Process Analysis and Reengineering, Technology Assessments, Enterprise Content Management, and Workflow.
- Principal of his own IT/document management consulting practice for over four years.
- Managed the growth of an international computer training franchise to over $3 million annual revenue.
- Successfully managed a $4 million document management project for the Social Services department of a local government entity, and a $1 million forms processing and document management project for a national order processing and fulfillment client.
- Successfully managed the design and implementation of several strategic IBM Content Manager initiatives for a global Buffalo-based financial institution; these initiatives involved workflow that facilitated local management oversight of off-shore distributed processes.
- Successfully managed a $4+ million consolidation of a FileNet system from one financial institution into the IBM Content Manager environment at the Cleveland-based acquiring financial institution.
- Currently managing several major Check 21 Image initiatives (Exchange, Share, Fed) at a global Buffalo-based financial institution.
Education
Mr. Warrington holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the State University of New York’s (SUNY’s) Empire State College of Buffalo, New York. He successfully completed the CEO/Entrepreneurial Planning and Management program at the Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
In 1999, Mr. Warrington attained the CDIA+ (Certified Document Imaging Architect) certification, an industry endorsed certification indicating his knowledge and expertise in all aspects of enterprise content management (ECM).
